SATURDAY, OCT. 14
WHALLONSBURG GRANGE HALL
This riveting, thought-provoking documentary goes behind the scenes to reveal the risks and rewards of the multi-billion dollar Venezuelan beauty machine. Venezuela has won more international beauty contests than any other country in the world, but there is a dark side to this success. Follow the hopes and dreams of three young women who transform their lives for the chance to become Miss Venezuela. This is a powerful expose about a country’s obsession with physical appearance and the objectification of women.
